An Eye For An Eye

Tent stitch with three strands of embroidery floss on this
really fine sort of Zweigart fabric which I bought from a fabric sale a while ago.
The gorgeous postcard from Kathryn in this month's postcard swap
The June's theme for the postcard swap on Fabric Fingers is Egypt. A few days ago I got a lovely
postcard from Kathryn of this lovely stitched Nefertiti head with the pyramids in the background.
I love the shimmery blues and reds along with the gorgeous gold. I'm impressed how everything is so neat and put together, absolutely stunning. Once again thankyou Kathrynx
Meanwhile I'm still busy stitching the Egyptian eye which I'm really having fun with.
I wanted to get some more threads, more beads so Jim drove me to the Fabric Guild warehouse.
Ciscos was very busy, very packed, I was amazed there wasn't much embroidery threads but absolutely fell in love with their beads. In the end I took myself to town to get my much needed threads and something to have a go at making my own beads from Fimo, all fun fun and all wailing from the purse but why not.... you only live once.
Ive got the background to stitch yet on the eye and to stitch gold round the eye too. I will let you know how it works out.
Hope you are all having creative fun and not too dampened down with the grey skies and rain we all seem to be having.

Now your latest posting, I have a feeling your eye is following me, went to the other side of the room and I could be your eye on me
