Dye Stash

Now that the fabrics have dried and that I can see them properly in the morning light, I am very pleased with the result. These colours will make a nice log cabin cot quilt don't you think.

Another friend was talking about babies, so I had another cot quilt idea in my head. If I can get to do some quilting today I will take a photo and show what I have done.

The sunlight is beautiful perfect for sewing and quilting creative thoughts.

We have had a heavy frost last night, I could not sleep very well last night I could of stayed in bed this morning but theres all my wonderful fabrics to play around with.

Mad goverment laws here in the UK say that if you fail your benefit appeals you really must go and look for work. Having a disability due to a road traffic accident in 1991, this left me with a weak arm, leg and lack of focus at times. For quite a while I had not been able to do long hours but now I will have to look for work and it has been worrying me a bit. I will see the disabilities officer next week and see what he has to say. As long as I can still get some time to be creative and do my quilts then I am OK.

Your dye recipe sounded very yummy (!) and from what you showed us the fabrics look very nice. Can´t wait to see more of them and especially in a quilt. Take care.

These look like an Easter sunrise to me! Lovely, soft colors. Best wishes on your meeting w/ the govt. officials; what an ordeal you've been through.
