Award Times

Tatania gave me an award which Im chuffed to bits with as I have never recieved one of these before. It's great, I almost fell off my chair so now I have to award five of these to five bloggers who I think deserves one of these and wow it was a difficult decision to make I had words with Scratch laid next to me to see what she thought so each time she wagged her tail it was a sign.. hee hee.
I just want to make a point that all you bloggers who come to me site and read a special too not just the ones that have the awards. I have learnt so much and you all give me so much inspiration.
When i cant sleep at night and when I have to get up due to being in pain and my MS being such a naughty devil!! I just switch on the computer and read all the wonderful blogs for inspiration and see what everyone has been doing.

I do hope everyone can follow this, its the first time getting this award so please bear with me.

I am very tired today, Ive had a difficult night but I did manage to do some more strippies and still lots lots more to do.
My partner Jim asked me a question and I didnt know the answer to that one.


" Can Quilts be also made as Duvet Quilt Covers? with just the quilt top and backing which would be like a huge pillow slip to slip the quilt into."Please let me know the answer to that one

Thanks so much for the award. It may be a few days before I do anything with it.
I have made a quilt duvet cover. There's a picture on my Nov 15,07 post. I just made sure it had pretty large pieces and serged the seams so they wouldn't ravel with repeated washings. Some people also put a layer behind the pieced front and them the back so that the raw edges are hidden. I thought that might be too heavy and take too long to dry.

I don't see why not. It would save quilting them.
I'm sure I read somewhere that someone had done that with most of her unquilted tops. She bought cheap duvet covers, took them apart and sewed in the unquilted tops.
