Do I Have the Doodle Bug?

All day I had been really busy cutting fabrics towards the American Colonial quilt. I still have loads of accurate cutting to do this all takes a long time with me as I want to get the squares and triangles right as getting the perfect shape is usually a sore point for me but I'm getting there.

My legs started to complain and the MS reared its ugly head in not letting me walk without a walking stick. So I rested and put my legs up as ordered and started doodling the way Ive never thought of before as if doing doodles for whole cloth quilts. I drew a rabbit with Pam in mind as I know Pam loves rabbits. could this be used for anything? I don't know I just love the folk art feel to it. So..... let me know what you think and if you want to use them please let me know.

I don't mind if its for self project or charity. If you have any exciting ideas how this can be used please also let me know.... its amazing how a little doodle develops into something.

Tomorrow when my legs have rested more, I hope to do more cutting.

The cream coloured cloth has dyed perfect, like a chamoise leather cloth. I just didn't realise how much cutting and puffing would be involved but I'm getting by and its keeping me out of mischief.

Hows your quilting day coming along?

These are lovely designs, Faith, you could use them to quilt on plain fabric.

You should use these to applique onto a quilt!! Thanks for the rabbit. I may have to use it on an applique somewhere. Now you need to do some cats for me too, LOL!

love the birds and bunny doodle, esp how its the bunny that's in the sky. That could be turned into redwork really easily or quilted with perle cotton as a whole cloth quilt.
