Wings Of Silk

All things special take time, these wings in particular. You can see I'm still working on the right wings of the butterfly. I couched paper covered wires round the outside of the butterfly round the outline with rayon embroidery thread then played around with rainbow dyed silks mainly doing non stop satin stitch. I have loads of different butterflies to do. This will all take weeks and weeks I will keep posting on here to let you know how I'm getting on with this challenging project, doing different bits each day.

Once again the night times are spent recording and writing exciting new songs.

As soon as I finish the right wing, it's time to draw out and cut the heart, I've got to get the cloth and design the right heart to size, I don't want the heart too small or too big.

Again I will post images and let you know how it's all working out good or bad.

Hope you are all keeping well and quilting happily
