Scratch is slowly on the mend, and while she is sleeping on the sofa, I'm stitching applique stems round the edge of one of the charity quilts. The cotton keeps getting knotted up so will run the threads through some bees-wax. There are what feels like a million leaves to cut out to go round the border. I will have to raid my little stash box and see what other greens I can scramble, you can never find the fabrics that you want when you need them can you, Ill be sending poor Rachel to the market to look for some fabric for me 100 per cent cotton while I'm dog sitting.
Well I had better go and dry the pots.
