I decided that the original material was a little too pale and yellowy so decided to paint some colour onto the fabric using acrylic mixed with fabric medium from the company liquitex.
I just have to wait for the paint to dry then fix this with the iron. When that is done I will be ironing some of these leaves with the fusion magic stuff I don't know the proper name but all quilters use it for iron on applique. The fun will then start with lots of cutting out then ironing in place round the stems of the charity quilt. I will keep you informed all that I'm doing.
